Deadweight is a London-based experimental theatre company specialising in interactive performance. Our multi-disciplinary approach to making work draws on our backgrounds in scenography, dramaturgy, filmmaking, and visual art. We believe theatre should celebrate its own liveness, and we hope to make work that is only possible in the medium of live performance.

Hannah Gintberg

is an interdisciplinary theatre maker from Denmark. She studied Theatre and Art History at the University of Florida and specialised in Cinematography and Acting at the European Film College before her MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She uses her multidisciplinary background to explore immersion as well as multisensory and personal connection in theatre.

 Dominika Uçar

She studied Painting at the University of Edinburgh before her Masters in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She brings with her an interest in design-led making and the blurring of artistic disciplines, as well as curiosity for dark humour and the use of laughter as a political tool in theatre. Dominika is drawn to examining corporate spaces and the impact of the modern workplace, as seen in her previous productions of 'Contractions' and 'Mosquitoes'.
